Biography
Kristin is an award winning contemporary impressionistic painter from St. Joseph, Michigan. known for her expressive brushwork and luminous color. Her paintings reflect her love for sailing, gardening and she has received numerous plein air awards A member of the US Coast Guard Artist Program, eight of her paintings are in their national collection in Washington DC.
She is a sailor and has been the timing voice on the radio for the Chicago Yacht Club Race to Mackinac for the past 20 years. Her work has appeared in American Art Collector, Plein Air Magazine, Traditional Home magazine, and is in many private and corporate collections.
Kristin lives and works in Michigan, where the light, the water, and the flowers continue to be her primary subjects. Kristin’s paintings are available at Mackinac’s Little Gallery, on Mackinac Island, A.R.S. Gallery in Lakeside, MI, and at her studio at the Box Factory for the Arts, in St. Joseph, MI
Works held in private and institutional collections throughout the United States, including the permanent collection of the United States Coast Guard.
